Privacy Policy — UAE Calculator Suite

UAE Calculator Suite operates uaecalc.com (the “Site”). This policy explains the Site’s current data flows. It does not claim that a calculator is anonymous merely because it has no account system.

1. Calculator inputs and results

The Site does not require an account. Raw monetary entries and calculated amounts are designed to remain in your browser and are not intentionally attached to analytics events. Some tools encode inputs in the page URL so that you can save or share a scenario. Anyone who receives that URL can read those values, and an external service can receive the URL if you choose to share or open it there.

Some destinations fetch public market or directory data from third-party services. Those providers can receive normal connection information, including your IP address and browser request metadata, even though the calculator arithmetic remains local.

2. Information processed automatically

Hosting and security: Cloudflare and related infrastructure process ordinary request data needed to deliver and protect the Site, such as IP address, request time, requested path, browser information, and security signals.
Analytics after acceptance: PostHog may receive page and interaction event names plus limited dimensions such as the selected tool, mode, currency, treatment, or a coarse salary range. Query strings and URL fragments are removed from PostHog URL properties before an event is sent.
Provider data: Analytics, hosting, market-data, map, and advertising providers process connection and device information under their own policies. We do not represent that an IP address is anonymized before it reaches those providers.

3. Consent and local storage

The preference control stores cookie_consent as accepted or declined in browser local storage. That value is essential to remember your choice; it is not a cookie. PostHog and advertising loaders remain off unless you explicitly accept non-essential services.

You can reopen the control using Privacy choices in the footer. Changing an accepted choice to declined sends a denial update and reloads the page to stop active non-essential services. Clearing site storage removes the saved choice and causes the prompt to appear again.

4. Analytics configuration

When accepted, PostHog is configured with in-memory persistence and session recording disabled. The Site does not configure persistent PostHog cookies or local-storage identifiers. Analytics state is therefore not designed to survive a page reload, although PostHog still processes events and connection metadata it receives under its own privacy policy.

5. Conditional advertising

The AdSense loader is disabled by default at build time. It can run only when the operator explicitly enables advertising, separately attests that the required Google-certified regional consent platform is ready, and the visitor accepts non-essential services. This Site’s basic privacy-choice control is not represented as a Google-certified CMP and does not grant Google advertising consent. It permits the loader request only; the separately configured certified CMP must collect and signal the applicable advertising choices.

If advertising is enabled, Google and its partners may process device, cookie, advertising, and interaction data under the Google Privacy Policy and applicable consent choices. The exact cookies and retention periods depend on Google’s active products, region, consent state, and configuration; this Site does not publish an unverified fixed cookie list.

6. Third-party services

Cloudflare — hosting, content delivery, and security (privacy policy).
PostHog — consent-gated analytics (privacy policy).
Google — conditional advertising and externally hosted services (privacy policy).
Market-data, mapping, and directory providers — used by particular tools and identified on those destinations where applicable.

7. Retention

The consent choice remains in your browser until you change it or clear site storage. In-memory analytics state is cleared by a reload or tab lifecycle. Third-party providers may retain request or event data according to their own settings, legal obligations, and policies; we do not promise an unverified fixed retention period here.

8. Your choices and rights

Decline non-essential services when first prompted.
Use Privacy choices to withdraw acceptance later.
Clear site data or use browser controls to remove stored preferences.
Contact us to exercise any access, correction, deletion, objection, or other privacy right that applies in your jurisdiction.

We do not sell personal information. The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly request personal information from them.

9. Security and international processing

The Site uses HTTPS and relies on service providers’ security controls, but no Internet service can guarantee absolute security. Providers may process information in countries other than yours, subject to their applicable safeguards and policies.
